Still working on the new story

I know it's taking me a long time, but I'm still working on the new story I want to publish on this blog. 😞
In the meantime I'm writing with BikoWolf the story of our erotic action comic, Dream Walkers. We're already at Volume 4 with over ten thousand reads! 😄

Dream Walkers update

I would like to remind you that, in addition to writing on this blog, I am also making an erotic action comic together with BikoWolf. So far we have completed Volume 4 and, if you are interested, you can click the link I leave you. 😛

Thanks to BikoWolf for Everything

As you may have noticed, I haven't written in a while. The reason is simple: I can no longer continue this blog novel. But this isn't the end of this blog, I'll probably post more novels but not F/Y. Unfortunately I've lost the will to pursue this particular story.
However, I feel guilty and even ungrateful, especially towards the artist who dedicated his time to my blognovel. For this reason I would like to thank him by sharing with you the artworks of the never published chapters.
Thank you, BikoWolf. 😌
Remember to follow him on: Pixiv.

This isn't the end. My passion for writing hasn't been stifled. New stories will come, but this is goodbye for F/Y.
It was a good time. 😉

Dreamwalkers

It's been a while since I last wrote, but I have my reasons. Together with BikoWolf I was able to work on our first comic. 😋 It's something we're very proud of and you can read it for free on Pixiv if you want.

Update

A bit busy month, but I'm still alive and ready to update Fate/Yggdrasil. The next chapter will be out soon and I hope you enjoy it! 😁 And if the question is, "But YKIR, what the fuck have you been up to this month?" then perhaps I would say that it's appropriate to update you on some things... *cough cough*... Excluding my obligations as a student and YouTube, I dedicated myself to some stories that I published on Wattpad (click here to take a look at the profile recently created) and I decided to start a project with BikoWolf... a comic ... yes.😎 We'll see how it goes.

In the meantime, why not take a look at this fanart of Gaius Julius Caesar? A pretty good Easter design. Here you will find the original work.

On fears - Sulle paure

Fear is really a strange feeling, it's like a thrust to the heart or a grip to the head that forces thoughts in a stubborn and blind direction. That obsession with that single thing, that fear of that single and useless detail, that unbridled restlessness that hammers the mind constantly and with calm violence, are all things that always make me want to scream... or cry. Sometimes I really hate myself because I can't silence that fear, I can't control it, I feel like I'm forced to suffer because of those dark thoughts. Sometimes I would like to have a command to silence all thoughts and pacify my mind. There must be something sadistic in our mind if it likes to make us feel like this. Me, you and us... we are all, in one way or another, hunted by that feeling that calls us day and night, that awaits us behind every action and every tiny hope.
Plugging your ears is useless because the heart continues to beat with an uneasy rhythm, even when the voices become whispers. Those light shivers that scratch the body run together with the gaze that imagines scenarios so surreal that they can only be the invention of a madman.
Where does salvation lie? In rationality? But how can the rational mind deal with the irrational beast? How can a docile rabbit bite a hungry wolf? It can't, it's simple. Fears cannot be rationalized, they can only be calmed temporarily... temporarily and briefly.
Fears return.
Fears march.
Fears eat.
At the end of it all I realize that the only thing I can do is wait. This is the truth: the only remedy for fear is time. Now I am here and I'm afraid, tomorrow I'll be afraid, and I'll be afraid also the next day... but one day I won't be afraid anymore.
Ernst L. Kirchner - Marzella
Some say fears need to be fought, but that's stupid because many of them can't even be fought to begin with. Some fears can disappear with action... but where action is impossible there is time. Time allows for adaptation through slow and unconscious habituation to what we don't like. Eventually the fear goes away on its own... because even a sadistic mind, sooner or later, gets tired.
As soon as I stop writing, I will lie down and wait for the fears to end.
Sooner or later they will end.
Sooner or later...
I have patience and will wait.
Sooner or later they will disappear.
Sooner or later...

[ENG] I know that we haven't seen each other for a while and you probably know why, so I won't bore you with the story of everything that has happened in recent months and go straight to the point: the new chapters of Adocentyn will soon be out. I took a look at the ones already posted in this blog and realized some errors, inconsistencies and so on... after a fairly quick correction, I decided to continue with the publication of Fate/Yggdrasil Adocentyn. If you are interested in reading the entire story of Fate/Yggdrasil you can visit this blog page to download the PDF. That said, see you in the next chapter. 😁

Don't worry I'm not dead

I know I've not published Adocentyn, but I'm still correcting all Fate/Yggdrasil. I was hoping to take less but it's taking me a long time. Not a problem for me, in fact, I can't wait to get to the end and let you read the final product. 😀😀😀

An important project

This is something I decided to do yesterday and I forced myself to finish it. I'm going to take the previous Fate/Yggdrasil chapters and give them a good clean. I realized that there are quite a few mistakes (even really stupid ones) and I don't want my work to remain in that state. At the end of the fix, the complete story of Fate/Yggdrasil will be published in a PDF for you to download. In the meantime, I will carry on Adocentyn.
Wish me luck 😎

Sorry

You have to excuse me if I haven't published any new chapters on this blog for a long time. Fear not, I have not forgotten about the series and there is no excuse for ignoring this work for practically a whole month.
A lot of things are keeping me very busy, from YouTube to other novels I'm writing. Mainly one that I'm thinking of submitting to a publisher. So I'm so sorry. I promise a new chapter will be out soon. Have patience and forgive me.

Adocentyn, the new story

🎇 Happy New Year!!!🎇

There is always a moment in life when, turning around, you want to go back. And it is precisely in that precise moment that, instead, you have to find the strength to move forward. We are made up of choices and consequences. Our words will never say who we are, to be they say who we believe we are, our actions will speak for us ... sometimes we are wrong, sometimes we are right. We will fill ourselves with problems and find a way to solve them. Don't be afraid to go on. Don't be afraid to move towards the end. Everything, after all, ends up starting something new.

The new project

I apologize in advance if I haven't posted on the blog in a while but I have my good reasons. As you can guess, reading the title, I'm going to start a new project involving F/Y. Together with Bikowolf I agreed to start Fate/Yggdrasil Adocentyn, the sequel to Fate/Yggdrasil.
This is our most ambitious project so far since there will be more Servants, more Masters and above all there will be a slightly more complex story than the others.
I sincerely hope you like it. 😀
Having said that, thank you for your attention.

Favorite historical characters who might one day become Servant - 8

Pericles

A descendant of the powerful and influential Alcmeonid family on his mother's side, Pericles had such a profound influence on Athenian society that Thucydides, his contemporary historian, hailed him as the "first citizen of Athens". Plutarch says that Pericles was the richest of the Athenians for forty years; he led his first military expeditions during the first Peloponnesian war and averted the Spartan threat.
Pericles wanted to stabilize the dominant position of his city and assert his pre-eminence in Greece. He raised the necessary funds to carry out his ambitious construction plan, with particular attention to the renovation of the Acropolis, which included the Propylaea, the Parthenon and the golden statue of Athena, sculpted by Phidias, a friend of Pericles.
Undoubtedly the figure of Pericles marked an entire era and inspired contradictory judgments about his most significant political decisions. He was certainly a great general and also a great leader; he kept away from corruption and was a man with a strong charisma and also a great masculine charm. He was loved by the people. For over 20 years Pericles had the military command even if, out of prudence, he never undertook a campaign on his own initiative whose risk was not evident nor did he accept the "vain impulses of the citizens".
He was a brilliant man, a talented speaker whose words were almost always full of wisdom. But he was also an ambitious man. Not only did he possess a superior intelligence and an elevated language, devoid of banal or vulgar expressions, but he was distinguished by his austere and impassive face. However, he was also a proud and conceited man.

SERVANT:
If he were a Servant his class could be either the Lancer or even the Saber class. After all, we are talking about a warrior. The Rider class might also fit. I don't consider him, for obvious reasons, neither an Assassin, nor an Archer, nor a Caster.

Hávamál, the beginning of the Holy Grail

The chalice that received the blood of Christ, a sacred object that appears in the Arthurian cycle, in the story of Fate is considered a sort of Noble Phantasm and it is assumed that there are at least 726 Grails and because of these several conflicts have broken out. Creating a Holy Grail wasn't easy for me because I wanted a miraculous object that was also dangerous just like the one created by Kinoko Nasu. I wanted a tool capable of destroying everything but at the same time able to attract the magi, in order to make them fight the conflict.
I thought about taking up the concept of the blood of Christ but changing the last part. I already knew the Nordic poem called Hávamál. This work is composed of shorter poems which are rich in ancient wisdom. Hávamál could be called a work of philosophy.
Rúnatal or Odins Rune Song is a section of the Hávamál where Odin reveals the origins of the runes. This section was of particular interest to me for the simple reason that there I had found the story of a sacrifice, that of Odin.
What played in my favor was the presence of a Jelling stone erected by Harald Bluetooth where you can see a representation of Jesus Christ as Odin making the sacrifice under Yggdrasil. So I had the connection between Odin and Christ and the only thing I was missing was the Holy Grail, but for that it was simple enough. (Just add a magic cup, right?😲) So the Holy Grail of Yggdrasil instead of having the blood Jesus Christ had received that of Odin.
Below you can find the description of Odin's sacrifice presented in the Hávamál:

I know that I hung on a windy tree
nine long nights,
wounded with a spear, dedicated to Odin,
myself to myself,
on that tree of which no man knows from where its roots run.

No bread did they give me nor a drink from a horn,
downwards I peered;
I took up the runes,
screaming I took them,
then I fell back from there.

Yggdrasil or Yggdrasill? 😬

The Ash Yggdrasil
Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Yggdrasill is the name of the mythological tree in the Nordic language; I chose to use the modern English word which spells it with a single "l".

Ouroboros, the story of a crazy idea

An ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. In the alchemical tradition the ouroboros is a palingenetic symbol that represents the alchemical process, the cyclical succession of distillations and condensations necessary to purify and bring to perfection the "Raw Material".
In love with Egyptian culture, I decided to use the concept of the snake eating its tail to build the Holy Grail of Yggdrasil. I wanted a Grail that had a completely unique power, I didn't want a tool that could simply fulfill a wish and end of the story, I wanted something dangerous but at the same time miraculous. I knew it would be difficult to create such a magical item and for this I relied on Nietzsche.
The German philosopher interested in oriental culture was interested in the concept of the Ouroboros and on this he based his philosophy of eternal recurrence. According to this philosophy time is like a carriage gate, the place where two paths meet and from which two paths branch off, one towards the future to infinity, the other towards the infinite past. However, according to Nietzsche, the eternal return is not a condemnation to eternal repetition. Knowing this I wanted something that represented this Ouroboros but what could it be?
So I thought about using Nidhoggr (or Nidhogg) and treating it just like the Ouroboros. Nidhoggr in Norse mythology is "the one who strikes with hatred"; this is an evil creature similar to a huge dragon-snake (do you understand what I did, yes?😁) Yes, basically (since I'm a genius) I thought that since both Nidhoggr and Ouroboros are two dragon-looking snakes then they are one and the same. The idea of the century, really ... but jokes aside I knew that Nidhoggr is the name of the snake that, in the afterlife, torments the corpses of the dead and feeds on them; I also knew that this creature is associated with Ragnarok, another element of Norse mythology; in a nutshell it's a great battle between the dark forces and the forces of light after which the whole world will be destroyed and thus regenerated.
Ouroboros, however, is not the same as Nidhoggr, of course; the evil serpent of mythology is the one who brings darkness while Ouroboros is basically an alchemical concept. Gnosticism assigned a serpent similar to the Ouroboros with demiurgic powers similar to those of Christ.
With all this information I decided to create an original and unique mythology in Fate/Yggdrasil. I wanted to take Nidhoggr and give him the power to create and to destroy and I wanted to associate this creature with Nietzsche's philosophy. However, admitting the repetition of things in this way could have damaged my story; or, to put it another way, it could have created some hard-to-manage plot holes. Nietzsche advances the conception of amor fati as the only possibility of acceptance for man of the circular eternity of time.
Amor fati is therefore an attitude that cannot be assimilated to resignation but of active acceptance, which consists in the ability to make one's will coincide with the course of events as they occur, or by assuming them in their pure chance.
But why am I talking about amor fati? I didn't want to create a universe without randomness, I don't know if I make myself understood. Put it in simple terms: knowing that there's the possibility of an effective cyclicality, I didn't want to create a system that provided for exact repetitiveness, I wanted to keep the mystery and the randomness standing. I wanted to keep the concept of fate, but I didn't want a predictable story.
The First Arch of Fate/Yggdrasil had a story, the Second Arch had to have a similar but not identical story otherwise it would have all been predictable. Some events I wrote are similar, just to make people understand the existence of a kind of destiny in the story of F/Y.
But have I really succeeded? Well, you are the readers. It's up to you to decide.

However, I'm sorry for wasting your time with this piece where I wanted to tell how I thought about the Grail of Yggdrasil.
