Chapter 155 : Cleta's oath

« I will not die! » Lancer screamed furiously.
Yukiko was about to kill Tetsuya and when she saw Lancer standing with the spear still in her hands she said to her:
« Your Master will die and you with him. This is your only destiny.
»
« I won't die here! I'm a warrior and I will destroy all my enemies to avenge the death of my son Caulone! »
Cleta attacked Yukiko, the latter didn't move knowing that she had activated a magic on her that made her invulnerable but the spear pierced her belly.
« BITCH! »
Lancer kicked Yukiko and knocked her to the ground. Berserker looked no longer and attacked Lancer from behind; Lancer quickly turned and counterattacked with a chain of blows that broke parts of Berserker's armor, dodged her rival's punches and then delivered a kick so powerful that she knocked Berserker to the ground.
Yukiko, injured, stood up and seeing that battle realized that she was probably too arrogant to assume that Magecratft would fully work against a Servant.
She didn't wonder why Lancer was able to hurt her, she didn't care.
« No problem… if I can't kill her, Berserker will. Nobody can defeat the King of Knights!»
Berserker prepared to use her Noble Phantasm but Lancer intercepted her with a spear stroke that stunned her and then, turning to Tetsuya, exclaimed:
« Master… get ready… now I will use a lot of your magical energy!
»
« Don't worry… for me… » Tetsuya answered, exhausted and in pain.
« If we are to die, we will die fighting like true warriors. »
« You don't need to have these talks with me, Lancer, I already knew I was going to die like a dog. I am just this. »
Lancer turned and saw her Master's gaze. He wasn't angry or sad. His lips formed a strange smile that was both satisfied and full of regret. The woman smiled at him, turned to her opponents.
« You're a strange man, Tetsuya. I like you. »
Lancer took off her helmet and dropped it to the ground, then murmured:
« I will not lose this battle, King of the Knights… you who don't know the suffering of a mother will never defeat me.
»
Lancer's spear glowed red and suddenly her eyes turned crimson as well, a mighty wind rose and the hand with which she held the spear was enveloped in a bright scarlet flame. Lancer got into position and named her Noble Phantasm:
« Kókkini Flóga! (The Blood of My Son Caulone)
»
Lancer threw the spear with such power that her arm completely charred and became unusable, the spear destroyed every obstacle in its way and finally hit Berserker in full, causing an explosion of red fire with a radius of at least five meters.
Lancer fell to the ground, her right arm was black and was crumbling, by now she had no energy left and she hoped to have won the battle but Tetsuya, who shortly before had breathed a sigh of relief, immediately realized that Yukiko was using a Command Seal and exclaimed:
« Lancer, be careful!
»
Berserker returned to the battlefield with her armor still intact. Lancer, shocked, stammered:
« Ho-How did you d-do? Are you immortal? Are you so-some kind of go-god? Nobody can ... »
Berserker kicked Cleta's face and replied:
« I'm the King of the Knights. »
Berserker took out her broken sword from which a blade of light emerged, walked away from Tetsuya and Lancer and used her Noble Phantasm:
« No More Avalon!
(Deicide) »
With the sword she launched a powerful slash of light that pulverized Murakawa Tetsuya and Lancer together, the attack opened a huge chasm in the city and ended the battle once and for all; Berserker's Noble Phantasm was powerful enough to shake the whole city and some buildings tilted; Yukiko, amused, said:
« The beautiful end of a monstrous killer and a desperate mother. In the end there's nothing left of you but silence. »
« They were too weak. They were not worthy to face the King of Knights in a duel. »
« Now, now don't be so disrespectful to the dead. But I wonder if it will be the same end that Caesar will have when she faces you. I'm really curious. »
Berserker picked up Yukiko and carried her away.
